Good ol’ Hobbygobbs is one you can count on to come thru w/ some heat every time, time after time. I know its only the 2nd one, but I dig the fuck out these tapes, and its dope for a producer that is so talented & prolific to put their random scattered works together in one place for fans to enjoy, versus having to be up or put on to each individual project in order to hear all the work. Now I always check out each record anyway but w/ the amount of content out there these days…💯

Y'all keep it vibing hard every release. Broke/ breaks into my periphery with the slap of the 1200, a fantastic first foray for my ears. Gorgeous basslines amidst crunchy snares, jazzy piano riffs and haunting horns, provoke the head nod effect that was coined by the Godly SP in the 90s. Goomson smoothing things out with the low end, cathartic rhythms and sleigh bells provides a glorious ride out to end our journey in this EP. A real pleasure
